The EduCHI Symposia series brings together HCI educators across disciplinary and geographical borders to discuss, dissect, and debate HCI teaching and learning.
The symposium grew out of an HCI Education Workshop at CHI 2018, and has been held annually since 2019, first in conjunction with the ACM CHI conference (2019-2023), then as an independent event organized in cooperation with ACM SIGCHI (2024-2026), and now as an ACM SIGCHI-sponsored conference. Proceedings have been published in the ACM Digital Library each year since 2023.
